Facebook time off equals...

I have had so much to do the last couple of weeks that I haven't been able to focus on anything.

What I do when I can't focus, and what takes a lot of my time is Facebook. I am addicted and I need to be on there as often as possible, not for any specific reason at all.

So what do you do when you have plenty of things to do and plenty of assignments to turn in? You cut off Facebook. Why haven't I thought about that before?

I have done so much and have been so productive the last couple of days, without even taken a glance at the horrible website that shouldn't even be mentioned. May I have a round of applause, please?

This is what I've done:

- Finished 3 books for my assignment



- Written the assignment

- Watched Star Wars episode IV: A New Hope for school

- Almost finished the analysis of the movie

- Posted 3 packages



- Started reading other books that have to be read!

What is going on? I've never been like this before!

Time for a little change

Just do it

Today I applied for a job.

I have been thinking for a while now that I haven't been qualified enough to actually get it, but then when I thought of it more I realised - why not?

If I get it or not doesn't really matter, I mean, of course I want it. But what's more important is I actually did it.

So if you're doubting something that you actually would want to do, just do it. Even though you might not get what you want all of the time, you surely will learn something from it.

Det rullar på

I början av sommaren hände ett flertal bra saker. Skolan tog slut, betygen var i toppklass, pengarna började rulla in litegrann och självförtroendet var bättre än någonsin. Awesome, tänkte jag. I've got flow.

Sommaren var dock sisådär. Men sen blev det lite bättre och sedan lite sämre igen. Ganska naturligt, eller hur, men ack så slentrian det var att leva dag ut och dag in likadant. Jobb, jobb, jobb. Min sommar var praktiskt taget fyllt av enbart jobb. Lite solning vid carlanderska-parken, annars inget utöver det vanliga.

Sen efter semestern har extrema saker tagit fart och ifrån ingenstans har jag fått energi-boost och ett nytt uppsving av självförtroende (denna gången är det utan dess like). Jag knyter kontakter som aldrig förr och fyller mitt schema med inspirerande saker. Jag känner att det händer något och att jag är påväg någonstans. Det är otroligt intressant när man upptäcker en känsla man aldrig eller mycket sällan känner. Och av just den anledningen mår jag så fruktansvärt bra just nu.

För att fortsätta till något helt annat så vill jag visa vilken snygg portfölj jag köpte i en second hand-affär igår. Perfekt till skolan tänker jag..

Runaway

I just had 1 ½ weeks of up's and down's. Went to sicily, got back, went to Stockholm, got back with a hint of weakness. Well actually, not a hint of weakness but a big portion of it.

Why, you might ask.

There's a Swedish saying that goes "Vad är det som går och går men aldrig kommer till dörren?" In English - What is it that goes and goes and never gets to the door. Don't know if it makes any sense, my translation, but the answer to that question would probably be: Me.

I'm thinking of running away to south of France to find myself. To write stuff, to make up some new goals and to think about what I want in life.

If the career choice I'm making is something for me, if Gothenburg is the city I should stay in (I already know it's not) and should I actually feel this confused.

Which path shall I take, whick trail shall I make?

Today I have...

...gone to the library to use the computer since our internet didn't work.

...gone to H&M to get rid of a security tag that they had forgotten to remove from a dress. Quite annoying but I guess it happens sometimes.

...gone to Media Markt to turn my phone in. They had a spare one I could borrow!

...been tanning and reading Nick Cave's book The Death of Bunny Munro in the Carlanderska park.

...taken a nice little walk to ICA Focus where I bought ingredients for cookies that I was planning on making. Stopped by Universeum to check out their awesome souvenir shop on the way. I wanted a lot of things, I tell ya.

...forgot some things that I had to buy so i went to Willy's where I also posted a package.

...made both oatmeal cookies and chocolate chip cookies.

I'm exhausted.
